13 Entrepreneurs Present Ideas at the 10th Local Edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize 2026
Orange Jordan concluded the project presentation phase of the tenth local edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) 2026. During this stage, 13 entrepreneurs presented their ideas to the evaluation jury, which will determine the three top winners, after selecting them from among 162 applications submitted from across the Kingdom.
The jury comprised a distinguished panel of leaders, including the General Director of Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training, Dr. Aghadir Jwaihan, the CEO of INJAZ, Dr. Deema Bibi, the CEO of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), Eng. Nidal Bitar, the Board Member of the Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund (ISSF), Dr. Ashraf Bany Mohammed, and the Chief Corporate, Internal Communications, & Sustainability Officer at Orange Jordan, Eng. Rana Al Dababneh.
The local edition winners will be announced during a ceremony hosted by Orange Jordan in early September, where they will receive valuable financial prizes of JD 4,000 for first place, JD 2,500 for second place, and JD 1,500 for third place. Additionally, they will also qualify to participate in the international edition later this year and compete for Euros 25,000 for first place, Euros 15,000 for second place, and Euros 10,000 for third place, in addition to the International Women’s Prize worth Euros 20,000.
Orange Jordan expressed its pride in the inspiring ideas that have translated into innovative solutions with a social and environmental impact that makes a meaningful difference, underscoring that this level of scalable entrepreneurial projects reflects ambitions and reinforces the spirit of innovation in Jordan. The company affirmed that the local edition, launched in 2017, demonstrates its unwavering commitment to fostering entrepreneurs, noting that since the award was launched across the Middle East and Africa, it has attracted more than 17,600 applications, and 3,000 participants. The company also remains dedicated to its crucial role in empowering youth as the true responsible digital leader by unlocking local and international opportunities, providing a supportive platform to elevate talent, and contributing to sustainable development while actively supporting the Kingdom’s technological transformation.
